This is a very well engineered product of high quality and for a reasonably competent person easy to fit with the supplied template. As I was installing mine at the top of a cavity wall with a stone outer leaf I elected to use 10 mm threaded rods with resin, and through the entire wall thickness, rather than using the supplied expansion type bolts. The complete installation is entirely secure and I have no doubt that the canopy will be extremely durable.

Excellent Product. Compliments our new front door & give the house a New Look! Our neighbours very impressed. Only criticism (which might seem harsh) is that delivery time quoted on ordering coincided perfectly with door fitting/arrival day....... the canopy actually arrived almost 3 weeks early so I had to arrange storage. Our door fitter was impressed too - said it was one of the best he'd fitted.

Our neighbours bought one and we liked it so much that we copied them! As other reviewers have said, it's not the cheapest canopy available but it's well made, relatively easy to install, looks great - and will keep the rain off!

I researched the market and, although expensive, chose this canopy which was a good decision. The metal template supplied with the canopy enabled us to accurately locate the positioning in a difficult layout in our low cottage where there was not a lot of room between the top of the door and the Juliette above. Once we had marked the holes the rest was easy thanks to good instructions. Best news is it works as we had hoped keeping the rain off and not too obtrusive.

The site was quick and easy to use, from the first step of clicking on the site, all the way up until delivery. As told, the delivery had arrived perfectly on time, and looks great in person. The product is wonderful and looks great as a canopy.

Bought November 21. Easy to fit. Looks good. Great service too. Waited til now, June 22 to be sure it stayed that way. It has, buy one with confidence.

A quality item that is straightforward to install. Make sure you drill small pilot holes and then build up to the 16mm drill bit. This will stop the brick or wall splitting and make it easier to drill a perfect hole.

I needed a custom made canopy to replace a rotted wooden canopy. However I had many questions etc. I e mailed my questions to the House of canopies and had a fast helpful response. I placed my order and received my canopy within the agreed time by their own courier which was delivered with care. Today I had it fitted and I’m so pleased! It looks great.

Happy with the installed canopy - ordering a bespoke item was very easy. Similarly, arranging delivery for a particular date so that the canopy wouldn’t be sitting outside in its box for several days before our installer (a local roofer with his colleague) could put it up. I found both sales and post-sales customer service very responsive, knowledgeable, and polite. I am happy with the product and the look of it and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Our installers opted for a tower scaffold as the canopy was installed around 2.7 m above ground level (door entry has steps). There is a small ~ 1cm gap between the building wall and the glass, so if windy, a few raindrops make it through the gap, but that is nothing to be worried about. It does its job - keeping the doorway area dry - pretty well. It allows us to leave parcels or shoes outside our door without worrying they will get wet. I am glad I placed the order but be mindful that installation cost may not be cheap if your installer opts for a scaffold tower to install it safely, like ours did, given its height. I anticipated the price, so I wasn’t surprised about it.
