High quality door canopy designed and made in the UK
Type L Metal Door Canopy
A made-to-measure metal door canopy made from 2mm thick Zintec steel. Supplied with an integrated gutter detail to the front of the canopy to discharge rainwater left/right.
It is etch primed (industrial primer) and then powder-coated in a standard RAL colour of your choice. Please ask for further details.

Made to measure from 1000 to 2980mm wide and 600 to 1200mm deep.
It comes complete with overhead mild steel tie rods, each with a wall fixing plate that has 3 fixing points: 2 tie rods as standard, or 3 on canopies over 2600mm wide
For all bespoke orders, a new canopy drawing will be emailed for approval (within 1-2 working days)
Customer to confirm drawing or advise otherwise.
Canopy drawing MUST be approved to proceed to production.
Choose your style
Type L comes in three styles, all made to measure from the same 2mm Zintec steel:
- Open Soffit: a clean, open underside showing the folded steel.
- Under Panel: a flat panel closes off the underside for a smooth, finished look.
- Ready to Clad: built for you to add your own soffit cladding, such as timber or composite. The holes for fixing the cladding come pre-drilled, so it's ready to fit straight out of the box. There's also a cable hole in the back plate, so you can run wiring through for downlights or other lighting. Cladding is not included. It's supplied and fitted by others.

All canopies are manufactured in accordance with Euro codes for loading and materials,
We can offer generic calculations for our standard sized canopies to confirm their capacity loadings.
Client or site specific calculations can be offered against any standard and bespoke made canopies by our nominated structural engineer.

How are door canopies supplied?
Door canopies are delivered directly to you and are supplied flat-packed with comprehensive fitting instructions and the following:
Fixing template, making it easy for you to fit your door canopy in exactly the right place
M10 shielded anchor bolts designed for fixing into solid masonry
Guarantee
2 years on all metal parts (excludes powder-coated finish if fitted within 10km of the coastline).

Very good product. Sturdy and good looking. Just what we were hoping for. Most notable was the excellent service enabling us to achieve an early delivery to fit in with the availability of our builder.
The product can be customised by size, colour and number of hangers. It is good quality and looks great. I would highly recommend the product and the service was perfect. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is I think the fixing system for timber cladding panels could be improved.
Really pleased with the canopy, excellent quality and met the design requirements perfectly. Was delivered on time after manufacture and very well packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Installation was relatively easy as holes were all pre drilled. It was installed by the builders who commented about what good quality product it was. Really pleased with it.
