Sized for accessible entrances
Every DDA glass canopy is 1200mm deep, with widths of 1500mm and, on the Type P, 1700mm. That gives a sheltered space in front of the door for wheelchair users, buggies and anyone who needs a moment to get the door open.

Toughened glass, stainless fixings
The canopies use toughened safety glass with stainless steel fixings, a combination that stays smart with very little upkeep. The Type P's glass is to EN 12150.

Three support styles
Type G and Type K are carried on three brackets, with the Type K using gallows brackets; the Type P is supported by three tie rods from above for a lighter look under the glass.

Part of a compliant entrance
A canopy is one part of an accessible entrance. Approach routes, door widths, thresholds and landings all play a part too, so check the full requirements for your building with your designer or building control.
