We are following advice from Public Health England and continue to react on a daily basis.
All measures are geared around protecting the health and safety of our staff and customers.
Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). These types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as cardboard packaging. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water or hand sanitisers.
Our measures: All non-essential contact points have been removed. Additional hand sanitisers and handwashing signs have been installed at key contact areas such as doors. We've eliminated the use of shared hand-held devices used for scanning when picking/ packing orders. Additional daily sanitising of all contact points has been implemented. Office staff are seated at "safe distances" from one another.
Visitors: We have suspended all meetings and planned visits until further notice. We are not accepting customer visits or collections.
Deliveries: All deliveries are made by our carriers. They have adopted their own measures which include how you will acknowledge receipt of delivery instead of signing using a shared handheld device. Please accept that due to excessive volumes of parcels, service guarantees have been suspended and that means orders may take a little longer to reach you than you. We're sure you'll understand why.
Our opening hours: We will continue working during our normal operating hours for as long as we are able to do so. Stock information and lead times are live and displayed against each item.
