Type L Metal Door Canopy
Sleek metal door canopy made from 2mm thick Zintec steel. Choose between a solid underpanel (see 1st image in the gallery), or no underpanel. The no underpanel option allows the option of fitting a contrasting material such as cedar cladding (see 2nd and 3rd images in the image gallery). Please note we do not supply the cladding.
The top side of the canopy has a gentle 5 degree forward pitch which meets with a v shaped groove to dissipate water.
Dimensions
Widths between:1.2 - 2.9m x Projections between:750 - 1200mm - widths up to 2.4m have 2 overhead tie rods widths 2.4 - 2.9m have 3 overhead tie rods. Projections 750 - 1200mm
Finishes
All Type L Metal door canopy are fabricated from 2mm thick Zintec steel which is etch primed and then powder-coated in your selected RAL colour. If we do not list your desired RAL colour either contact us to check, or select "Other" when placing your order.
Note, some RAL colours may be subject to an additional charge.
Wind and snow load testing
Our door canopies are tested to ensure compliance with stress/deflections and snow loads in accordance with EN12150 and BS 5516-2.
How are door canopies supplied?
Door canopies are delivered direct to you and are supplied ready to be installed. Each canopy will be supplied with a steel fixing template and comprehensive fitting instructions and the following:
